About the event
Sun printing, also known as cyanotype, is a (scientific!) method of creating art where you harness the power of the sun to make permanent blue prints. In this class, we'll collect some non-toxic flowers, then get to work arranging them over our paper and let the sun do the rest. Each participant will bring home 3 cards, perfect for either framing or giving as gifts.
Recommended ages: 4+ (child should be able to focus on a task and also follow directions — caregivers will need to help a bit when it comes to mixing chemicals).
Fee: $20.00 (includes all materials)
Sign up early, as supplies are limited!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Treehorn is a working farm. Caregivers must attend to their children at all times.
